A much needed update!

So, I know I have been slacking lately in updating...I've got a to-do list a mile long of things to get done before little Gabriel makes his arrival! I've also been practicing with my somewhat new camera to get good at it before he gets here, so I've got lots of pics in this post! Let's see...where to start!! 

I guess the biggest announcement I have to make is that I am going to be a stay at home mom!! I am so excited, but sad to leave work...I love my job, so it was really hard to turn in my notice. Since I knew I'd be at home with Gabriel, I joined a playgroup that some of my friends were in. They are a fun group of girls...and sweet too--they threw me a baby shower last week! I am so excited to have a group of girls to hang out with and go to the zoo, petting farm, and park once Gabriel gets here! He is going to have lots of play buddies. 

Like I said, I've been sooo busy getting everything together before Gabriel gets here...I even

took on a craft project with my mom--burp cloths! Check them out, I'm so proud of them and of my shaky but decent sewing skills!

This weekend, I had plans to do lots of chores and stuff, but my feet looked like THIS... (Eew! and ignore Sadie in the corner, I just noticed she made the picture!)

Yummmmy! It was a fun weekend. 

I go to the doctor this Wednesday...hopefully I will have some progress to report, as last week's appointment was disappointing...no progress yet! I have "dropped" a little more, so hopefully that's a good sign that he's getting even more ready to make his big arrival! This last picture is for Christine...an updated belly shot. I don't know how much bigger it can get! The doc said last week he weighed about 5 1/2 to 6 lbs. so I am scared to see how much bigger he will be!
