Holy Cow....

Gabriel is a honeydew melon this month, and we are a little over a month away from due date! He weighs about 5 pounds and is around 17-18 inches long this month. His senses are continuing to improve -- when light peeks in through my (extremely) stretched belly, those tiny eyelids and irises blink and dilate. And, he can now recognize and react to simple songs! Growth is starting to slow, and he should descend into my pelivs by the end of this month.

I'm going to the doctor every two weeks now, and things are still looking great! I'm gaining about a pound a week, and my belly is growing about an inch a week. Gabriel is definitely head down, so hopefully he will stay there for the next 6 or 7 weeks! I'm feeling a lot less kicking, and a lot more movement, as he's trying to get comfy in a space that keeps getting smaller and smaller! I'm also pretty sure my feet have started swelling, because I've noticed my shoes are leaving indentions on my foot, and they did not used to do that!!
So, hopefully we will see our little one at the end of next month...I'll keep everyone posted!

Nursery is Finished!

After lots and LOTS of working, cleaning, washing, and putting stuff up, the nursery is finally done! I am so proud of the finished product and cannot wait to show Gabriel how hard his mommy and daddy (and Aunt Tina, and grandparents, and great aunts, and great grandmothers!) have been working to give him the perfect nursery.

First off, his bathroom that Aunt Tina worked so hard on! She hand painted everything you see!

His bedroom closet...he's got a few clothes!

Maternity Pics!

While we were at the beach, we met up with our wedding photographer, Jill, to do some fun maternity pictures on the beach. Here are a few of my favorites...enjoy!

I had my baby shower this past weekend and it was soooo much fun! I got a ton of cute stuff and got to see all of my friends and family. Pictures to come soon!
