I have been slacking on the updating lately because I have been SOOO busy with things! Last weekend, some of the playgroup moms went on a mini vacation to Gulf Shores for some fun in the sun. Great time! I came back and started working on two calligraphy orders (still working on one!), and I am also in the middle of starting a business with two special ladies...whew! I can't wait to get everything going with that. In the meantime, we had some pictures made with our favorite photographer Michelle...and here are a couple from that afternoon. It was a lot of fun!
In other news, my baby boy is NINE MONTHS!! How in the world did that happen? He is a little above average on weight, height, and head circumference, and the doc said everything looked great! Yay Gabriel!
He is starting to pull up on EVERYTHING now, so we have learned not to leave the remote or our cell phones laying around, or they are likely to be stolen by this sneaky little boy. Oh, and he also likes to push his car around the house until it gets too far away from him, then he does a belly flop...pretty darn cute!
And he has also found the joys of the wondrous door stop. This child has found every single door stop in our entire house and will be entertained for forever by hitting it. We always know where he is just by listening for that "boing-ing" sound of the door stop! His nine month photoshoot was a little difficult because he spotted another doorstop while I was trying to snap a picture of him.
And in the middle of all our happenings, we threw mom and dad a surprise 30th anniversary party! We were sweating it until the very end, because that was the day that all the tornadoes were supposed to hit. We decided, tornadoes or not, we are throwing this party! Luckily, the weather had simmered down to a sprinkle once everyone started to arrive. Mom and dad thought they were coming over for dinner, but pulled up to a house full of their close friends and family. It was so much fun surprising them on their big day. Happy 30th!
Love the pictures! Abby loves the door stops, too. They keep her entertained for a while! :o)
