On Wednesday, we had our fun playgroup St. Patrick's Day party. Little did we know, a virus was silently making its way around ALL the kiddies who were there. As of today, there are about 6 or 7 kids who are dealing with a yucky stomach virus. Unfortunately, Gabriel didn't escape the wrath of this one...he was happily playing in his bouncy swing this morning, when all of a sudden his breakfast decided it didn't want to be in his belly anymore. YUCK! Poor baby didn't know what had happened, he'd never thrown up like that before! So I called the pediatrician and they said just to push the Pedialyte and wait it out. Which is what we have been doing all day. Luckily he hasn't had any more episodes, but we are just keeping a close watch on him, hoping we don't get it too! And he LOVES Pedialyte.
By this afternoon, he seemed to be feeling MUCH better, so he decided to hang out with his Daddy and watch him work out. And practice his new tricks.
And since the weather was so nice, I took him outside later this afternoon for some good, fresh air. Now does this look like the face of someone who has a stomach bug? He could have fooled me :)
