Six months down, three (well, really four) to go! Gabriel is now the size of an eggplant, and weighs almost two pounds! Inside the womb, the formation of tiny capillaries is giving him a healthy pink glow. He is also soaking up my antibodies, getting the immune system ready for life outside the womb. His eyes are forming, and Gabriel will soon perfect the blink -- perfect for batting those freshly grown lashes.
I've been doing and feeling great! Just getting bigger each day. I had my 24-week doctor's appointment last week, and everything is looking good. This next appointment will be my last monthly...and then I go every two weeks! I'm super glad spring is here...this means capri pants and sandals for me, which is so much more comfortable than long pants and closed toe shoes. I feel like we are doing pretty good with getting everything ready for Gabriel's arrival...the nursery is put together, minus hanging stuff on the wall, a lamp, and a ceiling fan. I've gotten all of his clothes that he has so far washed and hung in his closet. Only a few more things to do, but I feel like I've got plenty of time still. We are going for our 3-D ultrasound in three weeks, and I am sooo excited about that! I hope he cooperates and shows us his pretty face! I can't wait to see who he looks like.
